Ph.D. scholarships are available, in the areas of (i) experimental unsaturated soil mechanics, (ii) fundamental root biomechanics and soil-root interaction; and (iii) physical modelling of wind-induced tree instability. Motivated candidates with background of Civil Engineering or Plant Ecology/Plant Science (for area (ii)) are welcome to apply.
